Sportsfans in Germany and Switzerland will soon be able to subscribe to DAZN directly through their mobile operator.
The streaming service has signed agreements with Telefónica Germany (O2) and Swisscom.
Ben King, SVP Global Distribution and Business Development, DAZN said: “Our customers have clearly told us how they enjoy the speed, simplicity and convenience of paying for digital entertainment through their mobile phone – and so we are thrilled to collaborate with global leaders, Telefónica Germany (O2), Swisscom and Boku to enable this feature for them.”
Customers can also register and pay via the Apple’s App Store, Google Play, and Amazon Fire TV through in-app purchases.
“We are very pleased about our new partnership with DAZN. Through it, we can now offer our customers an additional service,” says Pia von Houwald, Director B2P Digital Processes & Services at Telefónica Germany. “Payment by mobile phone bill and an attractive network of digital service providers strengthen customer relations for all Telefónica Germany brands”, von Houwald adds.
This initiative forms part of the ‘DAZN for Operators’ partnership programme via which DAZN collaborates with the world’s leading mobile carriers, broadband ISPs and pay-TV operators.
