VatiVision, the streaming service based around cultural, artistic and religious content inspired by the Christian message, made its debut Monday.
The multiplatform service has apps for, Apple, Google, Samsung and Android TV. It’s also available through TIM TV.
Rather than a regular subscription fee, VatiVision is hoping a pay-per-view model will appeal to its estimated one billion potential audience. The owners are looking at United States, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Colombia, the Philippines, and Poland as prime audiences for the service.
The project was developed by production company Officina della Comunicazione, which holds 75% of the capital. The remaining 25% is held by Vetrya, an international Umbrian-based group specialising in the development of digital services and cloud computing platforms.
