Next generation news network Cheddar is to revert to a single channel that combines both its business and news streams.
The four year old channel that initially launched on Facebook Live is adopting a new tagline “News Worth investing in”. It will continue to focus on the business of technology and the media.
In a blog post, founder Jon Steinberg said “the unification into one network will simplify the confusion between the two Cheddars and allow us to put our full effort, more wood behind fewer arrows, into building a single widely and consistently available live news network.
Cheddar is available on Pluto, Roku Channel, Amazon Fire News, and in line with its target audience is also distributed through a number of University Campuses.
A new evening show News Wrap is being introduced.
