TVP’s former president Jacek Kurski is set to return to the Polish public broadcaster just over two months after his dismissal.
Wirtualne Media reports that this follows two votes by the National Media Council (RMN), the first being on the appointment of a four-member board and second on the appointment of Kurski as a member of the board.
Maciej Lopinski, TVP’s current president, asked RMN to expand the composition of the board and Kurski, who has remained an advisor for TVP, was the only candidate.
Kurski is expected to eventually become TVP’s president again.
