M7 Group’s Czech and Slovak DTH operation Skylink regards extending its on demand libraries as a priority.
Furthermore, according by Jaromir Glisnik, speaking in a wide-ranging interview with Parabola, it is gradually expanding its OTT offer to including all channels with a reasonable viewership. The figure in fact already stands at 98%. However, it has no plan to merge its OTT and DTH services.
Glisnik also said Skylink plans to develop its exclusive channel Skylink 7, which includes programming from the paid packages of other channels, by broadening the attractiveness of its content in various genres.
In addition, he said that if the European Commission does not approve the extension of terrestrial frequency allocations to the current holders until 2030, then Skylink will have the chance to apply for a DTT multiplex.
