TV milestone for Netia

May 8, 2020 11.06 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

The Polish alternative telco Netia now has a quarter of a million TV subscribers.

Results published by the company show that it ended the first quarter with 249,000 B2C customers receiving its TV services.

This was 12,000 more than three months earlier and over the year the number had increased by 15%.

With other segments taken into account, Netia’s TV subscriber total stood at 254,000 as of the end of Q1.

Netia had revenues of PLN323 million (€70.9 million) and EBITDA of PLN107 million in the first quarter, with both figures unchanged on the same period last year.

CAPEX in Q1 amounted to PLN74 million or PLN10 million more than in Q1 2019.

As of the end of March 1.5 million lines operated by the company could offer services of up to 1Gbps.
