Belgian operator Telenet has reported its best performance since Q2 2016, driven by improved sales and reduced churn.
It’s added 8,100 broadband additions in the quarter.
The company has also improved its fixed mobile convergence – FMC is the latest acronym to be added to the results cycle. There were 575,800 customers at the end of the first quarter, an annual increase of 34%.
Q1 2020 revenue of €653 million represented an increase of 4% and includes the first full-quarter contribution of De Vijver Media.
Telenet reported a net profit of €653 million.
