Serbia Broadband (SBB) has decided to make changes its analogue services in eight more cities in order to increase the capacity for internet services.
According to the operator, this has resulted in the switch-off of four channels in Leskovac, Arilje, Bor, Ivanjica, Knjazevac, Majdanpek, Pirot and Vrsac.
It adds that the channels were chosen on the basis of their viewership figures and they can still be viewed digitally.
SBB also says that there will be no change in already digitised Giga cities such as Belgrade, Novi Sad, Subotica, Gornji Milanovac and Pancevo despite increased internet usage.
As previously reported by Broadband TV News, SBB made a similar move earlier this month in 11 other cities.
It was prompted by increased internet usage brought about by the lock-down imposed because of the coronavirus crisis.
