Two British private equity groups are in the frame to purchase the Greek telecommunications company and DTH broadcaster Forthnet.
Duet Private Equity, whose interests range from hotels to cola, first attempted to buy out Forthnet and the Nova satellite operation last summer with a €41 million bid.
Duet is joined by United Group, which is backed by London-based BC Partners, and the privately held Greek media conglomerate Antenna.
Local media reports a decision is likely to be made by Friday, with banks wanting a swift decision.
