Two million Romanians have become indirect shareholders in Digi Communications, the country’s leading provider of pay-TV services.
According to Ziarul Financiar, quoting an annual report published today (April 27), this follows the decision by the private pension fund NN Pensii to invest RON86 million (€17.8 million) in Digi.
It adds that the investment was made in the last six months of 2019.
Digi has been listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange since February 2017. It provides telecom services in both Romania and Hungary.
