The Russian telco MTS has appointed Sergey Belyakov the DG of its retail network.
Commenting on the development, Inessa Galaktionova, MTS’s first VP for telecommunications business, said: “MTS is a long-term leader in the Russian operator market and one of the largest providers of digital services in the country. A significant contribution to the company’s achievements is made by its own retail network, which continues to actively develop and introduce relevant customer service technologies: from modern CRM systems to big data analytics and artificial intelligence”.
She added: “I am sure that a deep knowledge of retail, success in implementing transformational programmes and leadership qualities will allow Sergey to effectively implement the new development strategy of the company. Its priorities will be the transformation of Russia’s largest non-food retail into a universal channel for promoting products of the MTS ecosystem, increasing sales efficiency and quality of service. Sergey faces an ambitious task to further build a personalized approach to customers through the use of advanced IT solutions”.
