German broadcaster Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland offers a new premium subscription on its streaming service TVNow.
For €7.99 per month, customers of Premium+ have the option of using two streams in parallel. In addition, the content is not accompanied by advertising and a growing number of series are offered in the original foreign-language version.
The introduction of a download function is planned for the end of 2020 as part of the Premium+ package.
TVNow continues offering the ad-financed Free and the standard Premium package, costing €4.99 per month.
The streaming service, which also underwent a redesign today, is available on iOS, Android, Chromecast, Fire TV, Airplay, Apple TV and Android TV as well as on Samsung devices from model year 2017.
The line-up comprises around 34,000 programme hours of various genres from information, show and real life to sports, documentaries and fiction.
