Canal+ has launched a major advertising campaign to accompany the launch of Disney+, which goes live in France on Tuesday.
The launch was postponed for two weeks during the Coronavirus outbreak at the request of the French government.
The channel’s coverage covers Disney itself alongside Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic.
The ad, created by the BETC agency, will see Canal+ security guards facing mysterious intruders in their offices, which of course turn out to be the heroes of Disney.
A series of offers will be available to Canal+ subscribers including the combination of Canal and Disney for two years at a monthly €19.90.
Disney+ made its debut in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, and Switzerland on March 24.
