John Illingworth joins Bitmovin

John Illingworth has been appointed sales director Middle East at Bitmovin.

In his new role he will be based in the UAE.

Prior to joining the company he spent four years as sales director MENA at Verimatrix, and his previous positions include business development director MEA at Friend MTS (November 2014-December 2016) and an 11-year spell at Irdeto, where he was area sales director Russia, CIS and CEE from November 2003-2011 and sales director Middle East from July 2011-October 2014.

Illingworth has spent the last nine years of his career based in Dubai/UAE, before which he was based in Russia/Ukraine for eight years.
