NBCUniversal is to make available its latest releases on a Day-and-Date basis, starting with DreamWorks Animation’s Trolls World Tour.
Sky Store will have a range of NBCU titles available the same day as their global cinema release. They will be priced at £15.99. In addition to Trolls, which is slated to open in the United States on April 6, titles already in their release window including The Hunt, The Invisible Man and Emma.
Stephen van Rooyen, EVP & CEO, Sky UK and Europe said: “We’re working hard at Sky to make sure we continue to look after our customers. We’re also introducing some things to help make life a little easier for anyone at home trying to work, stay connected to loved ones, or keep the family entertained.”
Sky has also agreed that Sky Go Extra will be available to all customers for free, giving customers access to three screens at any one time and increasing choice across a household.
Calls to UK landlines at any time of day will be free for existing Sky Talk customers from this weekend to the end of April.
And Sky Mobile customers will get a 10GB data boost into their ‘Piggybanks’ that can be shared across all the SIMs on the account.
