Vodafone TV set for Czech Republic

March 12, 2020 08.33 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Vodafone Czech Republic, in conjunction with UPC, plans to launch a Czech version of Vodafone TV later this month.

Quoting company representatives, Digizone adds that although the service will be available via set-top boxes it will also be offered via applications on smartphones and tablets.

Vodafone TV has been tested internally since December and unlike the current UPC TV service will operate both with a fixed internet connection from Vodafone (UPC) and from other ISPs.

Further details of Vodafone TV, which is eventually expected to replace UPC’s TV service, will be made public in the next two weeks.
