German video-on-demand (VOD) provider Pantaflix has reached an agreement with ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group regarding content for its advertising-based streaming service (AVOD).
The licence deal, of which financial details were not disclosed, comprises TV series and movies from Paramount Pictures’ library such as comedy Freaks and Geeks, sci-fi mini-series Steven Spielberg Presents Taken, the Academy Award-winning Rango and German action comedy Offroad.
The users can access the content free of charge and without registration. Further titles will be added in the next months.
