Media Group Ukraine (MGU) has entered into several agreements to sell its content to the Lithuanian broadcaster Lietuvos ryto TV.
Commenting on the development, Irina Chernyak, director of the TV content sales department at MGU, said: “Recently, interest in Ukrainian content from the Baltic States, Lithuania in particular, has increased. We are glad that our films and series are popular with the audience. We are glad to cooperate with Lietuvos ryto TV and we hope that the viewer of the channel will truly love our projects, since MGU has something to offer the viewer for every taste”.
Audrius Siaurusavicius, head of Lietuvos ryto TV: “We have purchased packages of various types of serials – action and detective “Get Out Without a Call “, as well as the docu-reality series” The History of One Crime. ” Both episodes are becoming more popular with our viewers. We are pleased to be able to cooperate with MGU not only because of the high quality of content appreciated by Lietuvos ryto TV viewers, but also due to the related history of Lithuania and Ukraine. I think this is one of the reasons why One Crime Story has attracted the attention of many viewers. After all, both countries know quite well what the 1990s mean and what happened in our countries during the years of independence”.
