Friend MTS has appointed Debbie Flippo, VP, Sales Americas, and Ayal Joshua senior pre-sales consultant.
With company headquarters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Birmingham, England, Friend MTS is expanding its sales force in North America with Flippo based in Denver, Colorado and Joshua based in Miami, Florida. Both will report to Brad Parobek, senior VP, Sales Americas, Friend MTS.
Commenting on the appointments, Parobek said: “The appointment of these two seasoned executives highly skilled in media industry technologies is timely now more than ever as piracy is increasingly impacting the revenues and subscribers of our entertainment customers that include content owners, broadcasters and operators right here in North America.
“We are confident that Debbie’s and Ayal’s deep knowledge of the media landscape will drive sustainable growth and long term value for the company as we continue to grow our sales force and offer advanced, proprietary digital security technologies developed to detect, deter and disrupt piracy on broadcast and streaming platforms.”
Flippo will be responsible for the strategic sales of the content protection company’s slate of technology services that include fingerprinting, watermarking and advanced subscriber identification. Prior to joining Friend MTS she was most recently VP, sales distribution at Vubiquity where she was responsible for sales revenue and account management for the US., Canada and Caribbean territories, as well as programming and platform sales, new product deployment and marketing and event management.
Meanwhile, Joshua will be responsible for drawing up requirements and electing the proprietary content protection products and services for customers that run the gamut in the entertainment ecosystem.
Previously, he most recently held the position of senior solutions engineer for HeadSpin, where he provided pre-sales support and solutions engineering in the mobile application performance testing space for both new and existing accounts in the Americas.
