The number of FTTH connections in Spain exceeded 10 million for the first time ever last November.
Data published by the regulator CNMC shows that almost 130,000 FTTH lines were added during month and 1.6 million in the year to November.
At the same time, the number of DSL lines fell by 1.2 million between November 2018 and last November.
Movistar accounted for 4.3 million FTTH lines, or 42.8% of the total, as of November 2019.
The terms of fixed broadband lines, MasMovil was the biggest winner last November, gaining 33,600.
At the same time, Orange (-11,000) lost the most.
Movistar, Orange (including Jazztel) and Vodafone (including Ono) accounted for 86% of fixed broadband lines.
