Orange Romania has appointed Pierre-Etienne Cizeron its new CMO, effective March 16.
He replaces Yves Martin, who will take on an executive role in another division of Orange Group.
Cizeron has over 20 years experience in the telecom industry and will coordinate the marketing strategy for the B2C segment of Orange Romania, focusing on fixed-mobile convergence and creating synergies between telecommunications and mobile financial services. In this role, he will report to Liudmila Climoc, CEO of Orange Romania, and will be a member of the company’s executive team.
Cizeron has been part of the Orange team since 2006 and held several roles in the commercial and marketing area, working in various markets in America, Europe and Africa.
During his tenure at Orange Egypt, as chief B2C business units officer he successfully coordinated strategies with a positive impact on revenue and accelerating the adoption of digital services in a highly competitive market.
Prior to that, as VP consumer marketing for the Orange Group, he had a significant role in supporting the commercial and marketing activities of the Orange subsidiaries, including for Romania. He also served as chief marketing & commercial officer at Orange Caribbean.
Yves Martin joined the Orange Romania team in 2016 and made a significant contribution to strengthening the company’s leadership by creating attractive convergent offers and a digital strategy that responded to the changing needs of the local market.
