Protests have taken place in Belgrade in support of N1, the TV channel that now finds itself at the centre of a dispute between its operator United Group and Telekom Srbija.
According to N1, the protestors said that the fact the channel was not distributed by Telekom Srbija was an attack on public interest.
The protestors also likened other media such as Pink TV and RTS to “pro-regime drugs”.
Meanwhile, United Group has dismissed what it terms “inaccurate statements” about its ratings and at the same time urged Telekom to publish its contracts.
Also, PM Ana Brnabic has said that Telekom’s offer to distribute N1 and its content for free is fair to other operators that pay for that.
