Danish telco TDC has appointed former Telenor executive Henrik Clausen as its new CEO. He’ll take up the role on February 17, 2020.
Under its current structure, TDC is the parent company to TDC NET, which is focussing on the upgrade to fibre and the establishment of 5G services, and Nuuday which runs entertainment brands including YouSee, TDC Erhver and Blockbuster.
“Together with the management teams and the thousands of dedicated employees across TDC, Nuuday and TDC NET, I am looking forward to take part in this historic transformation focused on ensuring Denmark upholds its position as a digital frontrunner, said Mr Clausen. “Together, we will deliver on our long-term commitment to Denmark by increasing our investments in digital infrastructure in TDC NET and further strengthening Nuuday’s offerings within digital entertainment and service solutions to both consumers and business customers,”
Mr Clausen will take over from interim CEO Mike Parton on February 17. Mr Clausen will then resume his position as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of TDC.
