Russia’s leading OTT service ivi is preparing for an IPO at the end of this year.
According to Kommersant, the news has been confirmed by several sources in the OTT and investment communities, adding that its CEO and founder Oleg Tumanov spoke about the possibility of an IPO in 2020 two years ago providing there is no collapse in the ruble.
It was also reported in April 2029 that MTS was negotiating the acquisition of ivi for around $320 million.
Kommersant also says that the IPO is being prepared by JP Morgan Chase, with NASDAQ a possible placement.
Ivi is understood to be valued at over $700 million.
