Telekom Romania will increase its subscription fees for the third time in less than a year on March 1.
According to Ziarul Financiar, there will be an across-the-board rise of RON2 (€0.42) a month on all its services with the exception of fixed telephony.
The move, coming ahead of the company’s upcoming sale, is being made in order to cover its costs and remain “economically viable”.
Ziarul Financiar notes that raising prices so frequently is unprecedented for the local telecom market.
