Germany’s national football association DFL acquires a stake in Israeli-based mobile app startup Movez.
The majority shareholder is AGT International, a company specialising in artificial intelligence and internet of things.
The smartphone app, which is to be released this year, primarily targets children and young people. With the help of artificial intelligence, the camera images are used to analyse and evaluate the ball sports activities of the users. The results can be compared and shared in social networks.
DFL will provide video footage of Bundesliga players doing exercises from the Movez app. The app can also access the Bundesliga archive.
