The Czech broadcaster Prima plans to launch a second channel in Slovakia this year.
According to Zive, quoting Prima’s business development director Martin Cepek, the channel in question will be CNN Prima News.
It will offer viewers Czech content provided by Prima and international news from CNN.
Prima officially entered the Slovak market two years ago with the launch of Prima Plus.
CNN Prima News secured a licence last year and was due to start DTT test transmissions earlier this month.
