Arthur Dreyfuss, secretary-general, Altice France/SFR, has been appointed director general of Altice Médias France.
An internal statement, reported by French media, says the close confident of owner Patrick Drahi will replace Damien Barnet.
34-year-old Dreyfuss held several positions in government including justice, foreign affairs and transport. He was also deputy spokesperson for the Chancellery before becoming Director of Consulting at Havas.
He joined the Altice Group in 2014 as Communications Director of Altice NV before also becoming Secretary General of Altice France / SFR, of which he has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2018.
Grégory Rabuel, executive director general public and companies of SFR, is named general manager of SFR.
