Sports channel DAZN said it saw record consumption in 2019 with more than a half billion hours streamed in the last 12 months, an increase of 98 percent from the 256 million hours streamed in 2018.
Mobile was the most popular device for watching DAZN with 26% of consumption. Followed by set-top box/streaming stick (23%), smart TV (21%), desktop (17%), game console (13%).
The company said its most popular event was the rematch between heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz Jr. It failed to say how many streams were delivered, but said 107 events recorded one million streams between them.
However football was the top sport overall with 314.6 million hours viewed; baseball was second (31.1 million hours), followed by motorsport (37.9 million hours), American football (37.2 million hours) and boxing 22.6 million hours.
