Poland’s Kino Polska TV would like to partner with Netflix in the production of new movie content, according to its CEO Boguslaw Kisielewski.
Speaking to Wirtualne Media, Kisielewski, who is also the head of Stopklatka, added that such cooperation would not extend to its upcoming OTT service, aimed solely at the Polish market and Polish viewers and expected to make its debut this year.
At present, it offers them the proprietary FilmBox Live and FilmBox OnDemand. Kino Polska TV is currently aiming to make 4-5 of its own productions at a total cost of around PLN20 million (€4.72 million).
They will be shown in cinemas, on its own channels and by VOD services.
