Spacecom has confirmed the appointment of Itzhak Shnaiberg as the company’s acting CEO.
It follows the appointment of retirement of former CEO David Pollack from the Israeli satellite company.
Pollack, who announced his departure in November, helped establish the Israeli satellite operator and raised funds for the AMOS satellites programme on the Tel-Aviv stock exchange.
Shnaiberg joined Spacecom in 1996 as the company’s CFO, and in 2008 he was appointed Deputy CEO.
In a statement, Spacecom’s Board of Directors thanked Pollack for his “many years of service” to the company and wished success for Itzhak Shnaiberg.
