RTL Hungary and M7 Group extend cooperation

December 17, 2019 11.38 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

RTL Hungary and M7 Group have concluded an agreement under which the satellite services provider will continue to broadcast RTL channels.

As a result, the DTH platform UPC Direct, which is owned by M7 Group, will invariably include RTL Klub channel and all other RTL channels already available (Cool, RTL Gold, RTLII, Film+, Sorozat+, RTL+ and Muzsika TV) in its portfolio.

According to the agreement, the parties will also further extend their cooperation in the future and Film+ HD and RTL II HD channels will be soon available in UPC Direct’s offer.

In addition, UPC Direct subscribers will get access to RTL’s premium streaming service, RTL Most+ in the first half of 2020.

Details of the agreement and technical implementation FilmBox Live will be announced soon.

RTL Most+, which also offers premium content, will be the fourth streaming service in UPC Direct’s portfolio beside UPC Direct Now, HBO GO and FilmBox Live.
