The Slovak national transmission company Towercom has made its HbbTV application Otta available on satellite.
It is now available to viewers in the country who receive broadcasts from Astra at 23.5 degrees East, having previously only been offered to terrestrial viewers.
Other changes to the service include the addition of 4K Ultra HD content with titles from Red Bull and seven-day catch-up.
Although the service can also be received abroad, registration is required in Slovakia.
It has also been reduced in price from €5.99 to €4.99.
All content on Otta is localised in Slovak or Czech via audio or subtitles.
The service is also now available through updated Android and iOS apps.
