New rules that come into effect at the beginning of 2020 will make internet access more affordable in Croatia.
According to the regulator HAKOM, they will see Hrvatski Telekom (HT), as a universal service provider, obliged to provide all users who do not have the technical ability to use standard packages available on the market with internet access of at least 4Mpbs, at a price which HAKOM has preliminarily approved.
HT will also give socially disadvantaged users a 50% discount on the 4Mbps+ internet service, as well as a 50% discount on its universal telephony service.
