The Slovak public broadcaster RTVS plans to launch its third TV channel within the next month.
Zive reports that although RTVS has not yet officially informed the media about the launch of ‘Troika’, it has published a programme schedule that shows the channel will go on air at 6pm on December 22.
Significantly, this indicates that the channel’s focus will not be on sport, as had been previously expected, but mostly on archive content.
RTVS has also said that the media will be informed about Troika at a meeting to be held next week.
