The Croatian Competition Agency has decided to initiate a Phase ll investigation into the sale of Tele2 Croatia to United Group.
In a statement, Tele2 Croatia’s owner Tele2 AB says that the expected time for closing is H1 2020, subject to regulatory approval.
It adds that it will continue to support United Group in its dialogue with the agency to obtain clearance.
As previously reported by Broadband TV News, Tele2 AB agreed earlier this year to sell its Croatian business to United Group in a deal worth €220 million.
