The Ukrainian DTT operator Zeonbud will launch a pay-TV package in 2020.
Quoting a statement supplied by the company, Mediasat says that it will consist of 24 channels and be distributed on the national multiplex T2.
At the same time, the 32 channels currently offered by Zeonbud will remain free to view.
Although Zeonbud’s offer was originally all paid-for, it stopped encrypting the channels it offers in January 2015.
Ukraine’s four leading media groups will encrypt all the channels they currently distribute via satellite at the beginning of next year.
