The Russian cable operator ER-Telecom has acquired several companies in Moscow.
According to ComNews, they include Kronix Plus, one of the oldest ISPs is the city, and marks the entrance of ER-Telecom, into the Moscow B2C broadband market.
Kronix Plus, which was formerly owned by Sergei Ryzkhov (60%) and Viktor Losev (40%), currently has no more than 40,000 active B2B and B2C broadband subscribers.
Although this gives it a market share of only around 1%, its value lies in the fact that it is represented in the Central Administrative District, where in some cases it is the only provider.
Kronix Plus was established in 1995 and is believed to have been sold for R200-250 million (€2.84-3.55 million).
