DVB World has published has published the first details of next year’s event.
In 2020 DVB World moves to Valencia, Spain (March 9 to 11). The conference plans to look beyond the DVB project’s current and into areas that include user behaviour, content production, esports and the wider video distribution market.
There’s also sessions on the DVB’s established technology standards and whether these will be maintained in the year’s ahead.
DVB-I, which sets the parameters for the broadband delivery of linear audiovisual content common, also gets a session alongside other online specs DVB-DASH, CMAF.
5G and Ultra HD is also on the agenda.
Broadband TV News will be the official media partner for DVB World 2020. Its editor, Julian Clover, will once again serve as master of ceremonies throughout the event in Valencia.
