Almost nine in 10 broadband connections in Slovenia now also include a TV service.
The findings of a study undertaken by the regulator AKOS in December 2018 and just published show that at the end of last year a total of 56 operators in the country were providing retail broadband services.
The most frequently selected bundles by customers were quad play (internet, TV, telephony and mobile), followed by triple-play (internet, TV and telephony).
All told, 87.38% of broadband connections included a TV service, with the average number of channels in the basic package being 152.
Less than half of end users (46.46%) paid extra for supplementary services and the average extra charge was €10.47.
The average subscription cost paid by end users was €47.84 including VAT for basic services and €50.79 including VAT for basic and related services.
End users on average paid more per connection than a year earlier.
