The Polish alternative telco Netia saw its B2C TV subscriber base grow by 13% in the year to September 30.
The latest results published by the company show that as of the end of Q3 the total stood at 229,000, with the 8,000 gained in the quarter being double the amount in Q2.
Netia also grew its broadband subscriber total for its own network by 4,000 to 549,000 in the third quarter, while its mobile customer total remained unchanged at 145,000.
As of the end of September, 760,000 services, or 7,000 more than three months earlier, were provided through Netia’s own network.
All told, 56% of B2C services used its own network, with the total rising to 70% in the case of broadband.
Subscribers on average took 1.71 services, while ARPU remained stable at PLN56 (€13.8).
However, it increased by over 15% for new customers in the first three quarters of this year to almost PLN59.
Netia, which is owned by Cyfrowy Polsat, had revenues of PLN320 million in Q3, or 2% less than in the second quarter, with B2B accounting for PLN174 million of the total.
Its EBITDA was PLN95 million, a 6% increase on the previous quarter.
CAPEX in the first nine months of the year amounted to PLN236 million, of which almost half (PLN109 million) was allocated to network investment and technological projects.
