The Russian DTH operator Orion saw a 47% year-on-year increase in its TV channel distribution revenues in the third quarter.
At the same time, its B2B business as a whole saw its revenues grow by 7%.
Meanwhile, the number of channels using its play-out services stood at 64 in Q3 and the total volume of satellite capacity sold was 275 MHz.
Orion’s total revenues in Q3 amounted to R805.2 million (€11.4 million ), or 3% more than a year earlier.
Its subscriber base as of the end of September stood at 3,112,400 households, a 0.6% increase on three months earlier.
ARPU for its budget package was R125 (+14%) and average price package R288, which was similar to three months earlier.
