Amazon has added its first production from Media Group Ukraine (MGU) to its content library.
According to the Ukrainian company, it is a four-part melodrama called Black Flower and made by Fresh Productions Group for the TV channel Ukraina in 2016.
Commenting on the development, Irina Chernyak, director of content sales at MGU, said: “For us, this is our first experience with the largest content delivery service on Amazon. Content requirements for players of this level are high, and we are very pleased that collaboration with Amazon began with a landmark project for Ukraine. This agreement proves once again that good quality content is produced in Ukraine. I am sure that Black Flower is only the beginning of a successful journey. The work is a large package of content that will soon be available on Amazon”.
