In December 2019, German telco Deutsche Telekom will introduce a TV stick for MagentaTV, which can be used to receive the TV platform via Wi-Fi on any TV set with an HDMI connection, regardless of the internet provider.
The 4K Ultra HD-compatible TV stick will cost EUR64.99 including three months of MagentaTV.
Combination tariffs with a Netflix subscription are also new: MagentaTV customers signing up for the offer, pay less for the streaming service than with a regular subscription, but they lose the possibility of cancelling the service each month.
