On demand service ITV Hub has reached the 30 million registered user mark, the broadcaster has announced.
ITV Hub has increased registrants from 21 million users in October 2017 and 26 million at this time last year.
The broadcaster had set 2021 as to when it had set its 30 million target.
ITV announced as part of its new strategy in July 2018 that its goal was to increase registered users from 25m to 30m over the next three years.
It’s pointing to summer programming such as Love Island for helping to add an additional 3.2 registered users in June 2019.
Live streaming is also contributing to the increase with 20 million simulcast requests for the Rugby World Cup so far, with 1.5 million for the weekend’s England v Australia match, the highest number during this year’s tournament.
Steve Forde, Director of Digital Products, said: “The Hub is a key part of our More than TV strategy and it’s a testament to our investment in technology and programming that we’ve hit our target registered users so far in advance.”
The Hub is also available to across 28 different platforms, with connected TV now the most used.
