Irdeto has appointed Shane McCarthy as chief operating officer of its video entertainment business, the security company has announced.
McCarthy has held a series of roles at the set-top box company Pace, including as President of its international business. He’s spent the past five years as a consultant in the media and entertainment and technology sectors.
At Irdeto he’ll be responsible for strategy within the international business.
“With an already thriving business providing security to many of the major players across the video entertainment space, this is a very exciting time to join Irdeto and help take the business to the next level,” said McCarthy.
