The global fashion, lifestyle and entertainment TV channel Fashion One has entered into a partnership with the Bulgarian telco Vivacom.
Under it, Vivacom will expand the delivery of its content to pay-TV platforms across Africa via the Eutelsat 8W MCPC platform.
Commenting on the development, Ali Gursoy, Fashion One Group CEO, said: “Fashion One is incredibly excited to be partnering with Vivacom for the launch of a new localised feed dedicated to Africa, we see big opportunities with this partnership and are excited for what is to come.”
Vivacom operates its own Tier 3 certified ground station and provides satellite delivery services for content delivery.
These are used by some of the largest media groups for signal transmission to Europe, Africa and Latin America.
