BritBox has given details on who’s providing its technology for the new streaming service.
The ITV-led company has commissioned Deltatre to provide the user experience, which is being built on the UX management platform AXIS, and multi-platform applications across web, mobile and connected TVs.
Digital platform security firm Irdeto is responsible for content packaging and protection, Akamai is providing the content delivery network and LoginRadius is responsible for the customer identity and access management platform.
The companies will be working alongside ITV’s own technology teams.
Customer services will be handled by Teleperformance who will be supporting BritBox via their offices in Gateshead. Balance Agent, a dedicated consultancy with an SVOD launch practice led by Gabe Fabius, is overseeing programme management.
Behavioural planning agency Total Media has been awarded the streaming service’s contract for media strategy and award-winning creative agency ITV Creative is on-board and responsible for the UK branding and launch advertising campaign following a competitive pitch. Award-winning consultancy Taylor Herring has won the contract as PR supplier for launch.
