Travelxp 4K launches in Denmark on Waoo

October 11, 2019 15.40 Europe/London By Robert Briel

Travelxp 4K strengthens its reach in Denmark by launching on Waoo TV.

Among the recent launches of Travelxp include the central, eastern and western European countries like Germany, Slovenia, Slovakia and the UK to name a few.

Sumant Bahl, Managing Director – Europe, Travelxp said, “We’re extremely happy to launch Travelxp 4K on Waoo’s TV platform – as a starting point, the channel will be available on STB and in early 2020 the channel will be launched on Waoo’s OTT platform as well. While we’re confident that the television audience will love our shows, we’re also excited to see the reception of our content on the OTT platform. Additionally, Europe has always been an important market for us. The broadcast industry here is flourishing and we look forward to setting many such milestones in the future.”

“Waoo TV boasts of rich and engaging content in different genres and by entering into a partnership with Travelxp, it aims to entertain the travel-centric audience as well,” said Jørgen Stensgaard, CEO of Waoo.

“Travelxp is a good fit for our TV portfolio as it helps fill a gap within the travel genre. Therefore we are excited to be able to offer this to our customers.”

With 1000+ hours of content, Travelxp’s shows are available in over 15+ localised languages. The single largest producer of travel content, Travelxp is also the global leader in 4K HDR technology. All its shows are original in-house productions filmed across 55+ countries with multi-cultural hosts.
