Dominik Libicki has been appointed a non-executive director of Play Communications.
In a statement on its Ordinary General Meeting, dated October 8, the company says that the appointed is for a period ending with the AGM resolving financial statements for the financial year ended December 31, 2021.
Libicki was formerly a long-term head of Poland’s Cyfrowy Polsat.
In another appointment at Play Communications, Mikkel Noesgaards has become the CMO to the management board of P4, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, with Michal Sobolewski stepping down from the being responsible for marketing.
Noesgaards has over 15 years of international experience leading sales, marketing and business development within the technology and telecoms sectors.
Prior to joining play he spent seven years in Telenor Group, most recently as CMO in Serbia and Montenegro.
Play Communications is a leading provider of mobile services in Poland, with over 15 million subscribers as of the end of Q1 this year, and also has a growing presence in the country’s TV industry.
